PURPOSE

An Enterprise Sales Representative (ES Rep) serves customers by selling products and meeting their needs.

The primary responsibility of the ES Rep is to communicate the solutions of Akwajobs to the understanding and acceptance of the Client (Employer/Recruiter/Advertiser). S/he works closely with the employer to understand their environment and their needs.

The role requires excellent negotiation and presentation skills, independent judgement, initiative, communication and interpersonal skills.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

A. Customer Sourcing, Profiling, Negotiation and Sales

1. Develops sales efforts by studying existing and potential volume of clients.

2. Brings innovation and change to the content of sales presentations by studying the

type of trade involved.

3. Prospect for new clients

4. Categorise and profile prospects to suspects to customers

5. Follow through the conversion of prospects to clients

6. Provide needed assistance to potential clients

7. Present offers and negotiate deals with prospects

B. Customer Relationship Management

1. Resolves customer complaints by investigating problems and developing solutions.

C. Competitive Analysis and Strategy

1. Monitors competition by gathering current marketplace information on pricing, new job

offer tactics, delivery schedules, merchandising, techniques.

D. Other duties and responsibilities

1. Recommends changes in services, approach and competition development.

2. Building engagement on social media and messaging platforms

3. Representing Akwajobs at events and functions

4. Writing and presenting Activity Reports - weekly, monthly, quarterly and annually.

REQUIRED COMPETENCIES

1. Ability to meet and exceed sales goals

3. Have an excellent knowledge of all Akwajobs’ Products, Services and Solutions.

4. Ability to initiate, negotiate and close deals

5. Excellent use of internet technologies like search engines, social media and messaging apps.

6. Excellent at using Microsoft Office Suite - Word, Excel and PowerPoint or alternatives.

7. Ability to work in teams.

8. Excellent at writing reports.

9. Open and willingness to learn new techniques and processes.

10. Ability to develop new ideas, products and procedures.

11. Self confident, quick and ready to learn, innovative, persuasive and apt.

ADDITIONAL NOTES

Policies and Procedures

The ES Rep is required to familiarize himself/herself with all policies and procedures and to comply with them at all times.

The ES Rep must maintain the confidentiality of information about applicants, students, employers and staff and any other personal information at all times.

Health and Safety

All employees and interns must ensure that they act in line with all agreed health and safety procedures at all times in order to maintain a safe and healthy environment for visitors and staff at the offices and other venues.

The Enterprise Sales Representative is required to be flexible in developing his/her role in agreement with the Business Development Manager. In addition, the ES Rep may be required by the BDM to carry out any other duty commensurate with their knowledge and experience.
