E-MEDIA INTERNATIONAL PICTURES Sarl, communication and audiovisual production agency based in Yaoundé, is recruiting for its needs a MARKETING & COMMUNICATION MANAGER.
Profile specific description
The successful candidate will have the role of designing, implementing and animating the company's marketing policy. He / she will be responsible for developing and proposing to his / her management the main lines of the company's commercial strategy. For this, he / she will collect information on the expectations of customers / prospects and on the competition. Listening to market developments and information collected in the field, he / she will carry out cutting-edge marketing analyzes. He / she will analyze the receipts and define the commercial and strategic objectives of the production poles of the company; he / she will define the marketing plan (catalogs, market studies, sales pitch, etc.) and develop the product and brand image strategy.
He / she will also perform the following activities:
Development of the communication policy
- Develop a corporate communication strategy;
- Set objectives and monitor the results of different actions or campaigns;
- Analyze the results of communication actions and their commercial impact;
- Ensure an important watch on the market, competition, consumer trends, media and advertising.
Press relations management
- To assimilate the product or image to promote, that is to say to know its subject well;
- Design a communication plan;
- Write a press kit and validate its final presentation;
- Write a press release;
- Target journalists who may be interested;
- Send the press release and the press kit to the selected journalists;
- Ensure good reception of information from journalists;
- Possibly organize a press conference;
- Invite journalists and list those who participate;
- Welcome journalists and answer their additional questions;
- Retrieve press articles and audiovisual interviews carried out on the subject.
Organization, implementation and improvement of communication actions
- Choose its partners and send them the specifications to develop the messages within the framework of the allocated budget;
- Choose the most relevant messages and their supports, test them, ensuring consistency between message, corporate image, and strategy;
- Produce or have produced the supports and update them (writings, photos, product sheets, catalogs, films, press kits, advertising campaign, etc.);
- Disseminate messages (buy advertising space, supply the network with media);
- Organize press conferences, etc. ;
- Inform and train the marketing team as well as the sales associates.
Promotion and development of the company's image
- Analyze the reputation, the feedback from the distribution network, the evolution of the clientele as well as the consistency between the messages, the logos and the sales supports;
- Propose event actions, such as sponsorship, and emphasize dynamic institutional communication;
- Develop the website and animate it to improve the notoriety, the dynamism of the network and facilitate sales;
- Prepare and participate in events, fairs and exhibitions;
- Participate in other aspects of communication in the commercial, technical and social field, in crisis situations and with the services concerned.
The job's missions
He / she is responsible for:
- Define the budget and monitor its achievement;
- Manage and motivate the marketing management teams;
- Oversee the development and launch of products as well as the implementation of promotional actions;
- Assist salespeople;
- Measure and analyze the impact of each action and, depending on the results, readjust its strategy;
- Develop strategic studies (personally conduct or directly monitor the realization of strategic studies, particularly those of a qualitative nature).
He / she is also responsible for:
- promote customer activity;
- develop and implement the company's internal or external communication strategy to attract and retain customers;
- specialize in one of the three areas of communication (clients, press, general public / institutional notoriety).

- Proven marketing skills (good knowledge of marketing studies, product marketing, brand strategies, operational marketing, etc.)
- A good knowledge of the business sector (COMMUNICATION & AUDIOVISUAL PRODUCTION)
- Capacities for market analysis and data synthesis

- Knowledge of the service provider environment and their consultation methods
