Description
HSD - Melt Group is recruiting for one of its clients, a multinational company in the agro-industry sector, a “QHSE Manager” M / F, to support the development of its activities in Cameroon.
Main mission of the position:
Implement the company's policy on quality, hygiene, safety and environment.
Job activities:
In collaboration with RH:
- Development of the employee awareness program (CSR, health / covid, safety / PPE, etc.)
- Reporting of social facts, in collaboration with HR / RSE
- Operational procedure for start-up, arrival of corn, storage, etc.
- Other health procedures, expatriate evacuation (DRH / log collaboration)
- Ensure the implementation of the Environmental and Social Management Plan, and the Company's Emergency Plan;
In collaboration with RSE:
- Design and negotiate the QHSE policy:
o Implementation of URGENT procedures (see safety) o Regular audit of the fire system and maintenance of extinguishers
o Development of traffic flow diagram for vehicles and individuals on site
o Ensure a technological and competitive watch in terms of QHSE,
o Integrate the various standards into a management system by interpreting the applicable standards,
o Communicate and promote the QHSE policy within the company,
- Implement the QHSE policy and coordinate it with the managers concerned:
o Define, formalize, adapt methods and tools to guarantee continuous improvement of products and processes, safety, risk prevention and environmental protection,
o Write and update directives, procedures and instructions,
o Train executives, technicians and team leaders if necessary,
o Plan and monitor staff awareness of QHSE
o Facilitate problem-solving or improvement groups
- Audit, plan and monitor:
o Ensure the traceability and compliance of raw materials, installations, buildings and processes with respect to specifications and standards in force,
o Analyze risks and opportunities,
o Plan improvement actions,
o Ensure waste reduction or treatment measures,
o Check the control and prevention procedures in relation to environmental risks,
o Prepare QHSE reviews,
o Prepare, implement monitoring and internal audits, external audits and those of suppliers
o Perform statistical monitoring of results against objectives,
o Participate in the analysis of risks and malfunctions and in the search for avenues for improvement,
o Check the results of improvement actions,
- Follow and update the legal and regulatory watch:
o Update the mapping of interested parties,
o Update the mapping of regulatory and normative requirements,
o Monitor the level of compliance with the identified requirements.
Qualifications required:
- Bac +4/5 diploma in QHSE or equivalent
- Minimum 5 years experience
- Experienced Quality Engineer preferably in the agro-industrial field
- Knowledge of the requirements of ISO 9001 and FSSC2000
- Mastery of standard office automation tools (Word, Excel, etc.);
- Languages: French and / or English.
