Job title: Director of Information Systems (DSI).
Number of positions: 01
Place of duty: General Management (Yaoundé).
Type of contract: Permanent contract (CDI).
We are a major player in the Cameroonian economic landscape in the microfinance sector. Our company is positioned on the microfinance market among the leaders thanks to a strong experience in financial services and the quality of its human resources.
YOUR MISSION :
The CIO will be responsible for leading, managing the IT team, and coordinating projects and activities for technical infrastructure, operations and business applications. He (or she) will be responsible for:
1. Management of the information systems department (DSI)
- Develop the budget of the DSI and follow it;
- Ensure the management of the organization of the DSI;
- Ensure the hierarchical supervision of the IT team;
- Lead and support the organization in driving change;
- Ensure the management of subcontracting: call for tenders, choice of service providers, contract management, technical monitoring;
- Audit information systems.
2. Installing, maintaining and securing the operating and information system.

- Define the IT maintenance policy and ensure its implementation;
- Define a backup plan for company information and ensure its implementation;
- Develop the strategy and policy of the organization's information and telecommunications system;
- Develop IT procedures;
- Supervise the purchase of computer equipment and software;
- Supervise the infrastructure of information networks and ensure their proper functioning and security;
- Define information systems security procedures;
- Prepare the IT business continuity plan;
- Supervise the operation of technical infrastructures and applications.
3. User Support Assistance.
- Provide technical support and assistance to users;
- Train users and teams if necessary;
- Analyze user needs.
4. IT Migration Project.
- Lead the implementation of the IT migration project;
- Support each compartment in driving change;
- Develop IT procedures in accordance with new IT processes.
5. Technology watch.
- Ensure the permanent technological watch of information systems;
- Monitor technological developments and make proposals to General Management.
6. Reporting.
- Provide IT reporting to General Management on a weekly and monthly basis.
YOUR PROFILE :
-
- You hold a BAC + 5 in computer science and network, in information system;
- You have proven professional experience of at least 10 years in the function and in the microfinance sector;

- You have a mastery of the use of the computer tool, Ms OFFICE software (WORD, EXCEL, etc.), NETSOFT, PERFECT, programming, database management, organization of systems information and computer security.
- Mastery of SQL, SQL+, PL/SQL, HTML, CSS, Delphi, Visual Basic languages ??would be an asset.
- You have a strong editorial and managerial capacity, a spirit of synthesis, a great capacity for analysis.
- You are proactive and able to work under pressure.
- Bilingualism (French and English) is an asset.
