E-MEDIA INTERNATIONAL PICTURES Sarl, communication and audiovisual production agency based in Yaoundé, is recruiting for its needs ONE TECHNICIAN, MANAGER OF AUDIOVISUAL EQUIPMENT.
Profile specific description
The audiovisual equipment manager technician works on aspects of technical implementation and operation during audiovisual productions. Thus, the successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the reception, storage and release of audiovisual production equipment and accessories, in accordance with procedures.
The job's missions
He / she is responsible for ensuring:
- Handling, transfer and storage of materials and accessories;
- Reception, verification and storage of materials and accessories;
- Preparation of shipments for rental or execution of contracts / markets;
- Preparation of rental contracts and release orders for equipment and accessories;
- Information and interrogation of the equipment and accessories management system;
- Labeling, classification and packaging of materials and accessories;
- Inventory of materials and accessories;
- Preparation of materials and accessories (cleaning, fitting of accessories, functionality, etc.);
- Checking that equipment and accessories are in good working order, both when leaving for hire and returning for hire;
- Proposal of investments in materials and accessories;
- Maintenance, verification, reconditioning, cleaning and storage of devices of all types before integration into stock;
- Perform technical tests of the equipment;
- Early participation in equipment departures and made available to customers;
- Ensure the check-in and check-in when the equipment is returned;
- Telephone reception and at the customer counter, at the rental departure and return level.
Skills
- Identify, code and verify materials and accessories;
- Maintain an up-to-date status of materials and accessories in stock, those on hire and those required for production;
- Use inventory management software;
- Adapt the handling conditions to the different materials and accessories;
- Use the appropriate packaging for the materials and accessories;
- Communicate with different interlocutors in various situations;
- Apply HSE rules in any intervention;
- Alert the departments concerned in the event of a malfunction or anomaly.

Education level :
- Bac + 2 or Bac + 3 Audiovisual production
- Bac with significant experience
Experience :
1 year minimum desired or internship in a similar position, and with in-depth knowledge of audiovisual material.
