As part of its development plan, SOCIETE FINANCIERE DE TOURISME ET DE LOISIRS (SOFITOUL SA), IATA approved tour operator, leader in the tourism industry in Cameroon and in the CEMAC zone is launching a call for candidates for the recruitment of 'a :
VEHICLE INSPECTOR
Place of employment : Yaoundé
Mission:
Ensure that the vehicles that are assigned to customers are able to meet their needs and comply with SOFITOUL's quality and safety standards.
As such, he must:
- Carry out vehicle inspections on departure and return from missions;
- Carry out vehicle inspections on departure and return from repairs to subcontractors responsible for maintenance, upkeep and repairs;
- Check the effectiveness of the maintenance operations carried out by the subcontractors responsible for maintenance, upkeep and repairs;
- Be the focal point on the aspects Safety in driving, Hygiene, and Environment (SHE) relating to the vehicle rental activity;
- Evaluate the risks of routes for out-of-town missions and make drivers aware of the safety measures in the driving to be implemented;
- Report to the Park and Store Manager and then to the General Resources Department Manager the anomalies noted during vehicle inspections;
- Apply the ISO 9001 version 2015 standards to its activity;
- Actively participate in Quality, Safety, Hygiene, and Environment (QEHS) meetings.
Training / Education:
- CAP or equivalent in automotive mechanics.
- Smith System certified or defensive driving is a plus
Professional experience :
Minimum 2 to 3 years of experience in fleet monitoring.
Specific skills :
- Vehicle operation;
- Vehicle maintenance;
- Safety, hygiene, and environment standards applied to fleet management;
- Vehicle safety equipment
- Driving license (B).
Transversal skills :
- Be rigorous, organize and coordinate actions;
- Work as a team;
- Master office tools (Word, Excel, etc.) and communication;
- High sense of ethics.
