Description

As part of the implementation of the activities of the PBF Elections and Social Cohesion Project, the UNDP Cameroon is looking for an intern, who will provide support to the Project Coordinator in terms of reporting and support for activity planning.

Duties and Responsibilities

Thus, the intern will be responsible for ensuring the activities detailed below:

  • Work plan monitoring
  • Implementation of the program of Project sessions, meetings of the PBF Project and preparation of draft conclusions of the meetings or sessions of the authorities;
  • Classification and archiving of documents and reports in easily traceable sequential references;
  • Support for the transmission to the national counterpart and of the focal points of the letters of invitation as well as the valid statements of conclusions;
  • Transmission to PBSO of draft reports and monitoring of comments taken into account;
  • Monitoring of actions to prepare the final evaluation of the Project;
  • Preparation of draft notes to the file;
  • Support for the preparation of participation certificates and monitoring of signatures;
  • Other ad hoc tasks which may be requested by the Coordinator and the Head of the Governance unit.

Required Skills and Experience

 

 

 

 

Minimum required:

  • To be regularly registered in the year of the License in a university institution, or to be in its first year of obtaining the license in Law, Languages ​​Administration and Management,

Or

  • To be regularly enrolled in the Masters cycle in a university institution, or to be in its first year of obtaining the Masters diploma in Law, Languages, Administration and Management,
  • Professional experience in one of these areas is an asset;
  • Knowledge of UNDP missions is an asset 
  • Perfect command of French (spoken and written) required; Have a working level of the English language;
  • Perfect mastery of IT tools and office software (Excel, Word, Power Point.)

EXPERIENCE

Experience of at least 3 months to 12 months in the administration of information and communication technology infrastructures.
