QHSE Service Manager
As part of its development plan, SOCIETE FINANCIERE DE TOURISME ET DE LOISIRS (SOFITOUL SA), IATA approved tour operator, leader in the tourism industry in Cameroon and in the CEMAC area is launching a call for candidates for the recruitment of 'a :
HEAD OF QUALITY, HYGIENE, SAFETY AND ENVIRONMENT
Place of employment : Yaoundé
Missions:
The head of the quality, safety and environment department (QSE) designs, defines, negotiates with general management, implements and monitors the company's quality, safety and environment policy. Its activities contribute to the development of new markets and represent an important issue in terms of the company's competitiveness.
As such, he or she must:
- Develop a safety, environment and quality master plan (QHSE) taking into account the objectives of general management in terms of sustainable development, customer requests, regulations and company constraints ;
- Manage the ISO 9001 (quality) and ISO 14000 (environment) certification process;
- Participate in communication, promotion of the QSHE policy;
- Define, formalize, adapt methods and tools to guarantee the continuous improvement of products, processes, safety, risk prevention and preservation of the environment;
- Perform statistical monitoring of results in relation to objectives, prepare QSE reviews;
- Check the results of improvement actions.
Hierarchic reattachment
The Head of the Quality, Hygiene, Safety and Environment Department reports hierarchically to the Director General.
Education / Training :
- Bac +4 / 5 in QHSE.
- Bac + 2/3 in tourism is a plus.
Professional experience :
Minimum 5 years of experience in Quality, Safety and Environment management in the service sector.
Specific skills :
- Master the ISO 9001 and 14000 standards;
- Master the tools and methods of QHSE audit;
- Master the techniques for developing and monitoring relevant dashboards relating to QHSE;
- Master statistical analysis and continuous improvement techniques;
- Master the process approach;
- Master the QHSE approach towards subcontractors.
Transversal skills :
- Be very rigorous and precise;
- Analyze and synthesize a lot of information;
- Manage priorities;
- Master office and IT management tools;
- Perfectly bilingual (French / English).
