The objective of the purchasing and supply assistant is to assist in the coordination of purchasing responsibilities on a daily basis under the supervision of the Logistics Coordinator.

Duties and responsibilities
- Assist in the implementation of purchasing within the coordination;
- Make purchases relating to Support and program activities, including field emergencies;
- Updating the purchase register in Agresso and monitoring contracts;
- Assist in the centralization of purchase files;
- Prepare purchase reports for the office;
- Maintain the follow-up of purchase requests;
- Share the purchase tracking table every Friday with CMG members;
- Archiving of purchasing documents in office 365;
- Share the DA and BC with the storekeeper to prepare the delivery;
- Participate in the Market Study and the establishment of a price catalog;
- Responsible for supply chain management: Monitoring of purchasing plans, management of the price catalog and updating / compilation of the supplier list;
- Prepare purchase documents and ensure approval to appropriate people.
Qualifications
- Professional experience as a Logistics Assistant in a support function in a humanitarian context;
- Previous professional experience in complex and unstable contexts;
- Have a diploma in logistics, supply or equivalent recognized in Cameroon.
Personal qualities
- In-depth knowledge of the social, cultural, economic and legal context of Cameroon;
- Basic knowledge of Excel, Word and Outlook software;
- Fluency in French both oral and written and notions in English.
