The Restore Her Dignity Project seeks to restore the economic, social and environmental self-worth of the African woman who is pivotal to the development of communities. This project addresses improper menstrual health hygiene management in crisis times. The organisation is looking for a project coordinator on “Restore her dignity “project. Successful candidate will receive on-the-job training based on individual project in which they may be asked to participate in order to enhance their capacity and skills.
PROJECT COORDINATOR
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
• Coordinate all outreaches and activities to achieve the Goals of the Restore Her dignity project.
• Plan and propose missionary activities that will facilitate the attainment of our goal to reach girls.
• Coordinate the production, marketing and sale of pads. Organise Menstrual Health Hygiene, Sexual Reproductive Health and Leadership training sessions on different platforms.
• Plan Community outreach initiatives, sought and propose potential Menstrual Health Hygiene (MHH) project partners.
• Initiate, organise, run and manage fund raising campaigns for the project.
• Identify, lobby for grants and sponsorship from international organisations
• Prayerfully sort partners and manages partnerships.
• Identify potential markets for pads with humanitarian organisations and source supply contracts
• Maintain partners and funders records
• Prepare report of all activities carried out
• Follow up of newly reached community members. Update social media platforms.
• Supervise pad production activities
PROJECT COORDINATOR
REQUIREMENTS:

- High school diploma in management or related field of study
- Knowledge of project management and development procedures
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to multi-task
- Attention to detail and problem solving skills
- Excellent time management skills and ability to prioritize
- Excellent communication, interpersonal and leadership skills
- Computer skills and knowledge of relevant software
SALARY: Negotiable
