Description
The Center Pasteur du Cameroun is recruiting within the framework of the project “TDDAP” (Tackling Deadly Diseases in Africa Program), a National Consultant to support the National Observatory of Public Health in the elaboration of the plan of monitoring and evaluation of the Plan National Action for Health Security (PANSS) of Cameroon.
Position: National Consultant
Duration of contract: 20 days
Hiring Location: Cameroon
Supervisor : CPC Scientific Director in close collaboration with the ONSP Coordinator
Background:
The TDDAP project supports Cameroon in the implementation of the monitoring and evaluation plan of the National Action Plan for Health Security (PANSS). The PANSS is a multi-year country-led planning process to accelerate the implementation of the essential capacities of the International Health Regulations (RSI, 2005). Its implementation requires regular monitoring and evaluation of its implementation in order to identify critical gaps and readjust strategies.
Objectives and Responsibilities:
Build a harmonized and coordinated framework for the supervision, monitoring and evaluation of the PANSS of the Republic of Cameroon in order to generate data for decision-making, readjustment of strategies.
Required profile :
- Advanced university degree in public health, epidemiology or a related discipline, with at least five years of experience in planning and monitoring-evaluation in the following areas:
Technical skills and knowledge:
- Excellent organizational and analytical skills;
- A good knowledge of the International Health Regulations (RSI, 2005)
Language requirements:
Essential: in-depth knowledge of English and French.
