MISSIONS

 

The Marketing and Communication Manager M / F is the person who takes care of both marketing and corporate communication. Its role is to design, implement and steer the company's marketing and communication strategy.   In this perspective, He / she is the guarantor of its positioning and its offers by intervening in different functional areas of marketing: strategy, product / brand, operational, digital. In the field of communication, its mission consists in promoting the image of the company with its environment by the definition of the global communication strategy of the company and the piloting of its implementation on a national scale and / or international.

 

 

ACTIVITIES

 

Develop and implement the marketing strategy

 

  • Install and stimulate a marketing culture, a sense of customer-oriented service
  • Manage marketing studies, define mixed marketing, monitor marketing
  • Perform satisfaction surveys and suggest improvements
  • Manage the marketing budget
  • Follow sales administration procedures and dashboards
  • Develop and improve product databases and customer files
  • Design, (produce) marketing tools and update them: catalogs, prices, advertising leaflets, product sheets, descriptions, arguments, etc.
  • Coordinate the evolution of the showroom and the corresponding activities: visits, photos, etc.
  • Promote prospecting: sending of mailings, phoning relaunch, etc.
  • Organize, coordinate and lead the marketing team
  • Set objectives and monitor the results of different operations / campaigns
  • Train and inform the marketing and sales team

 

Participate in the development and implementation of commercial policy

 

  • In collaboration with the Sales department, analyze sales statistics and forecast / realized differences, identify the most profitable segments, propose loyalty or relaunch actions
  • Forecast sales based on statistics and promotional actions in collaboration with all of the players concerned:   Sales, purchasing, logistics.
  • Disseminate relevant information to all stakeholders: new references, price changes, advertising campaigns, etc.
  • Participate in the development of new ranges

 

Develop a corporate communication policy and strategy

 

  • Develop a multi-channel communication and promotion strategy in collaboration with the Sales Manager: advertising, press, specific material, events, participation in trade fairs, internet, direct approach, and exhibitions, etc.
  • Design internal and external communication actions and a public relations policy, ensure the reputation of the company
  • Take stock of communication strategies including digital communication
  • Design and implement the web communication plan, manage the editorial Web strategy
  • Participate in defining the challenges of the organization's presence on the Web
  • Identify Internet projects and launch priorities (creation, redesign or evolution of sites)
  • Negotiate the budget with management and manage it accordingly
  • Establish affiliate and partnership programs (online contests, mini-sites, etc.)
  • Buy advertising space on the Internet and supervise campaigns
  • Determine and document the website requirements with providers and develop specifications, supervise providers and monitor creative productions
  • Ensure optimal results and comply with specifications
  • Improve technological and competitive intelligence, determine software and hardware needs
  • Participate in the exchange of good practices, conferences, workshops
  • Present the results of the actions to the management (Analyze the traffic on the different sites of the brand (SEM referencing), compare the performances with those of the competitors, Monitor the rate of errors, the dysfunctions encountered on the site (bugs)
  • Look for ideas to improve the digital communication plan

 

Expected results

 

  • Improvement of turnover and commercial margin by type of product and clientele
  • Return on investment for communication and promotion operations

 

 

PROFILE

 

Graduate of Business School or Engineer, have at least 2 to 3 years of experience in a similar position and have managed a team of at least 5 people.
