Position: MAINTENANCE MANAGER

Location : Yaoundé

Job missions:

The Maintenance Manager's mission is to:

  • Contribute to the availability of technical facilities of the plant,
  • Responsible for the design, development, organization and monitoring of the implementation of all activities related to equipment maintenance.
  • Supervise maintenance operations
  • Manage CMMS (computer-assisted maintenance management)
  • Establish an evolution strategy
  • Participate in the design of new installations
  • Establish, organize and follow the preventive maintenance schedule
  • Check the application of safety devices and standards
  • Coordinate interventions with the production department
  • Manage the fleet of equipment and spare parts
  • Participate in quality actions, safety and the environment
  • Manage a team of specialists

Job profile:

  • Bac + 4/5 minimum in Industrial Maintenance
  • Have at least 08 years of experience in maintenance and / or a good experience in a similar position, in the food industry
  • Knowledge of mechanics, electricity, notions of ergonomics,
  • Being able to supervise the conformity of interventions and the operation of equipment, materials and installations (receptions, tests, tests, adjustments, etc.)
  • Be able to propose a technical improvement for an equipment or an installation
  • Being able to study and identify changes (functionality, profitability, quality, etc.) of components, products, equipment

  • Understand and interpret engineering plans, such as those of general construction, mechanical and electrical.
  • Being able to manage a project
  • Be able to apply the technique of mounting mechanical parts
  • Being able to manufacture the parts (turning, braking and planing);
  • Being able to carry out dimensional and non-destructive testing of metals;
  • Being able to manage a team;
  • Organized and rigorous, dynamic, methodical and motivated
  • Proficiency in professional English desired
