Description

The Cameroonian Association for Social Marketing (ACMS) member of the Populations Services International (PSI) network; intervening in the field of health and whose programs target malaria, child survival, HIV and Reproductive Health rechreche for service needs a Junior Internet Auditor within the Executive Management.

The main candidate will have the following main tasks: Evaluate the procedures and policies in place and make relevant recommendations for their improvement; assist in the operational implementation of the platform's audit plan; assist in the development and assurance of good coordination of ACMS 'internet and external audit activities and ensure systematic risk monitoring.

Level of the position: 9th category, level C of the tertiary sector II of the National Collective Trade Agreement.

Tasks and responsibilities
Under the supervision of the Senior Internal Auditor, the Junior Internal Auditor will be responsible for:

Assist the senior internet auditor in carrying out audit missions following the annual audit program;
For each mission, carry out tests and document them according to the defined worksheets;

Evaluate policies and procedures and make recommendations for improvement;
Identify weaknesses in control and areas of actual or potential non-compliance in accordance with the requirements of PSI and donors;
Monitor the implementation of the recommendations of the internal and external audits as well as the resolutions of the board of directors;
Assist the audit team in the conduct of investigations and investigations into suspected fraud in accordance with PSI directives and in collaboration with GIA;
Support management in promoting ethics and integrity;
Provide support to PSI as part of capacity building and audits of other PSI platforms;
Assist in the coordination of internet audit assessments carried out by the PSI "Global Internal Audit" team;
Assist the senior external auditor in managing relations with the external auditors and the internal control team;
Monitor the financial performance and management control indicators of the institution;

Ensure independent control of stock inventories as well as the institution's assets;
Perform all other tasks related to its activities.
Qualifications, professional experience and technical skills required
Education:
Hold at least a Bac + 4/5 diploma in Accounting-Getsion-Audit / Finance, or another recognized equivalent academic diploma
Experience:
Have at least two (02) years of proven experience in auditing or in the fields of control and risk management in an international non-governmental organization or in a private company.
Experience in auditing donor projects would be an asset.

Have knowledge and experience of international NGO systems.
Be familiar with donor procedures such as: USAID, Global Fund, EU and KFW.
Language:
Fluent in French or English and have sufficient command of the other language;
Good writing skills.

Professional experience required to replace the Diploma:
Have five (05) years of relevant professional experience in the field of Audit, in an international non-governmental organization or in a private company.
