Description
The ICT Officer assists in the development and implementation of ICT standards and policies and provides support and solutions to meet the needs of the organization. This position will cover the North and south west region and requires frequent travels.Duties and responsibilities
- Provides basic assistance, information, training of users on current ICT procedures and rules;
- Responsible for the management of applications, networks, deployment of IT equipment, and management of assets;
- Ensures that security systems, data storage and backups are configured and maintained;
- Ensures equipment and peripherals are configured;
- Ensures the protection as well as the preventive and curative maintenance of the equipment, in terms of risks related to electricity, heat, water, dust and viruses;
- Ensures the management of email addresses and ICT equipment assigned to users in collaboration with the HR department;
- Ensures the good connectivity of each office in relation to ISP providers and users;
- Responsible for the validation of ICT and communication equipment purchases;
- Responsible for the installation and maintenance of the HF and VHF radio installations;
- Numbering and recording of assets in Agresso.
Qualifications
- Professional experience in an ICT function as well as in a humanitarian context;
- Previous professional experience in complex and unstable contexts;
- Proven track record on job Responsibilities;
- Minimum 2 years' experience in a similar position;
- Pedagogical qualities ;
- Good mastery of Excel/Word software;
- Good command of the labour legislation in force.
Personal qualities
- In-depth knowledge of the MS Office 365 package, network management (Administration), configuration and maintenance of ICT Equipment;
- Knowledge of TELECOMMUNICATIONS and equipment (Programming, installation and maintenance of HF and VHF radios) is an asset;
