Present in Cameroon since 1978, CARE has selected 3 action programs to respond to the critical humanitarian and sustainable development challenges facing the country: "resilience and economic inclusion of women and young people", "sexual and reproductive health", " humanitarian response and post-crisis recovery ”. CARE Cameroon is currently looking for a human resources manager to support the development of its team.

Description of the mission
Main objective
- The HR Manager is in charge of defining and implementing an HR policy focused on skills development, loyalty and team cohesion, in order to allow the team to achieve the objectives organisation.
- He / She maintains the balance and the dialogue between employer and employees in order to guarantee a serene working climate.
- He / She also ensures the compliance of working conditions with legal provisions (labor law, health and safety) and manages the administrative management of staff in collaboration with his team.
The main functions
- Skills development, loyalty and team cohesion:
- Manage the recruitment function: optimize the processes to improve job coverage
- Animate the performance evaluation process, make it evolve according to the identified needs
- Manage the annual training plan
- Reflect on ways to improve employee loyalty
- Develop team cohesion, for example through training in inter-personal communication, conflict management, or team building activities
- Administrative staff management:
- Coordinate the development of job profiles, employment contracts and / or endorsements
- Guarantee the payment of wages on time and in accordance with the legal provisions in force
- Manage administrative management so as to guarantee respect for the law and good working conditions for employees
- Being the interlocutor of administrations: labor inspection, occupational medicine, etc.
- HR reporting
- Ensuring the fluidity of communications relating to HR subjects with CARE France headquarters
- Participate in various audits regarding HR issues
Required profile
Education and Experience:
- Master 2 Human Resources Management or equivalent
- 7 years minimum professional experience
Skills and qualities required:
- Very good communication, coordination and diplomacy
- Rigor, interest in the law
- Confidential processing and management of personal data
- Conducting individual interviews
- Ability to work independently and with strong leadership
- Sense of diplomacy and negotiation
Languages: French and English
