It is with a view to further developing the level of our activity, and bringing our know-how to the attention of the greatest number, that we are looking for a (01) Farm manager who will be able to meet the needs of our mission, while respecting the company's production strategy.
Its main mission will be to organize operations related to crops and livestock and participate in the management and strategic choices of the farm.
Activities:

- It defines the working methods and programs the production operations in compliance with the specifications signed by the hierarchy;
- It establishes the distribution of tasks between employees, permanent or seasonal. It gives its recommendations, supervises and controls all the work carried out;
- He follows the evolution of cultures and animals and remedies any deficiencies in the event of insufficient results by fixing, for example, new instructions for staff;
- It provides material management of operations (supply, maintenance of equipment, etc .;
- He fills in the documents related to the administrative and regulatory monitoring of operations (traceability sheets, hiring declarations, etc.);
- It notes the technical and economic data linked to the productions, analyzes them and corrects them if necessary; In connection with the administration, it maintains relations with all the stakeholders on the farm (suppliers, agricultural advisers, etc.);
- In an advisory capacity, it contributes to the choice of production and technical and economic objectives.
Other missions
- The farm manager must also be responsible for the commercial procedures linked to the farm (purchase of supplies and food, sale of animals, etc.).
Profile
- Professional license Plant production or Agronomy / Engineering school in agriculture
- Minimum one year business experience required
- Good teaching skills
- Good sense of synthesis and communication
- Good customer argument and negotiation
- Knowledge of sales methods
- Project monitoring skills
- Computer skills
Skills and qualities
The farm manager has solid knowledge of both farming techniques and livestock management. He knows how all the equipment works and masters the IT tool in the analysis and synthesis of technical and economic information. In addition to its organizational and supervisory capacities, the availability and versatility allow it to adapt to management tasks as well as to all production or maintenance activities at the facilities. His interpersonal skills facilitate his commercial contacts or his exchanges with all of his other interlocutors.
