SUCCESS CONSULTS is recruiting A MARKETING AND COMMERCIAL DIRECTOR for one of its client companies, a post based in Yaoundé, specialized in the production and marketing of exterior and interior wallcovering plasters with 07 properties, namely: Used as plastering and paint, Fire retardant (Very high fire resistance up to 1100 ° C), Thermal insulation, Sound insulation (Up to 42 decibels), Impact resistance, Waterproof, Ecological (non toxic),

MAIN MISSIONS:

  • Design the marketing strategy and control its implementation,
  • Design the commercial strategy and control its implementation,
  • Contribute to the growth of the company's turnover,
  • Managing the Commercial Department,

MAIN ACTIVITIES : 

1. Define the business strategy of the company

  • Analysis of marketing studies as well as all the information coming from the field,
  • Identify market developments and expectations,
  • Determine the nature of the products to be launched, kept or abandoned,
  • Define the DAS (Areas of Strategic Activities) and associated commercial, marketing and communication policies,
  • Define individual and collective marketing objectives,
  • Define individual and collective business objectives,
  • Develop an operating budget,
  • Define strategies to develop the company's offerings and growth in turnover,
  • Design and define the communication, web, media and non-media strategy,

2. Management and implementation of commercial policy

  • Participate in the recruitment, supervision and animation of sales teams,
  • Contribute to business development,
  • Responsible for negotiating new contracts,
  • Manage major corporate accounts,
  • Responsible for representing the company externally (in salons after validation of the hierarchy),
  • Communicate on behalf of the company in dedicated channels,
  • Supervise the operational communications of the company,
  • Ensure the development of commercial projects,
  • Ensure the lead of the customer experience improvement process, reassuring oneself of offering excellent service standards,
  • Help improve the company's brand image,
  • Ensure competitive marketing intelligence,

3. Administrative activity

  • Submission of weekly / monthly reports on the evolution of commercial activities,
  • Ensure the integrity and preserve the company's heritage (rolling stock, equipment, etc.)
  • Marketing / commercial action plans report (monthly),
  • Market and competition analysis report (monthly),
  • Sales reporting report (weekly),
  • Other reports requested by the hierarchy if necessary,
  • Employee performance report (quarterly),

Report on the performance of commercial communication,

REQUIRED PROFILE

1. Technical skills (Know How)

  • M / F between 30-45 years
  • Min Bac + 5 in Marketing, Strategy, Management or equivalent,
  • Min 08 years of professional experience including at least 03 as commercial director,
  • Min 02 years of experience in the upstream (construction) or downstream (construction materials, paint, cement industry) industry of the building sector,
  • Very good knowledge of purchasing behavior in the building sector,
  • Proven experience in leading teams,
  • Proven experience in the development of commercial activities on a sub-regional scale,
  • Mastery of commercial software, ERP,
  • Good computer skills with MS Office skills;
  • Mastery of the distribution policy for consumer products,
  • Good command of commercial communication,
  • Ability to work independently and remotely with a minimum of supervision: proactive, dynamic, able to adapt to a demanding environment,
  • Good reporting capacity,
  • Strong negotiation skills;
  • Proficiency in French and English Atout),
  • Experience in Business Analysis is an asset,
